Feral Berserker: Instincts
- Three Instincts: up to three of the Berserker's passive skills are active at a time. Choose and swap them on the Blood Tree (K) while out of combat.
- Existing Berserkers: your passive skills have been unlearned once and every Blood Mark you spent on them is returned. Learn your passives again and pick the three you want; each passive you earned through a quest only costs one Mark to learn again.
- A clear Blood Tree: your active Instincts are linked to their place in the tree, and the page tells you when a swap has to wait until the fighting is over.
Ashen Priest: Rituals
- Funeral Bell (level 8): set down a bell that gathers part of the burning you deal around it. Cast again to toll it and release what it gathered on the enemies nearby.
- Sever the Flame (level 5): draw your Kindle off nearby foes and bind it into a barrier around yourself.
- Six Doctrines: Hollow Choir, Measured Toll, Wandering Vigil, Banked Heat, Mourner's Passage and Lingering Liturgy shape how the Rituals behave. Up to three can be held at a time, changed outside combat.
- Solo first: the Rituals are available in solo games during early access. In a party they stay quiet and cost nothing.
Combat and skills
- Skill refunds: clearer notices explain refund results and gold requirements, even while another banner is visible.
- Reaping Circle: damage sweeps keep their timing through slower frames, without an extra sweep when the skill ends.
- Whirlwind presentation: added spinning attack animations for male and female characters, with weapon trails, ground dust and hit effects.
- Harvest: the spin animation continues for the earned extension instead of stopping while damage continues. Co-op kill credit and duration are confirmed by the server. Damage, cost and the extension cap are unchanged.
- Poison: corrected missing damage ticks at high frame rates and extra damage after refreshing a dose. Damage stops when the effect expires.
- Bleeder's Cut: restored the final bleed tick and its Rage gain at higher frame rates. Damage, stack limits and refresh rules are unchanged.
World and quests
- Broken bridge: added collision guards at exposed riverbank edges to prevent falling through the ground while keeping existing routes open.
- Quest trophies: Grathmaw now always leaves his fang, and the grey wolves of the Forest of Ash drop it more often. Loading a character can recover an already-earned but inaccessible trophy without duplicating an available drop.
- Quest map: named targets and quest chests use their actual locations. Quests in the same region no longer hide one another's markers, and completed objectives disappear. Each co-op player sees their own progress.
- Waystones: Ashenmoor has a single waystone again. Once the route is open, choose THE RED MOOR on its map; the way back arrives at the same stone. Every active waystone now shares the purple crystal and rune effects.
- Plague rats: adjusted the death animation to keep the body grounded instead of sinking into the floor.
Ashen Priest
- Starting equipment: new Priests created through the co-op menu receive their staff and ragged chest piece, matching solo characters.
- Older characters: Priests with an incompatible saved weapon receive a usable staff. Existing incompatible weapons and off-hand items are retained in inventory or storage.
- Weapons by class: the Ashen Priest fights with staves and the Feral Berserker never does; a weapon of the other kind stays in the bag with a short note.
- Skill bar: removed the unused Berserker-only spacing from the Priest's four-slot skill bar.
- Kindle voice: cleaned up the existing female voice line without replacing the selected voice.
Interface
- Chat: clicking GENERAL or PARTY opens that channel while chat is closed. Tab switches channels while typing.
- Mouse pointers: restored the blade and attack pointers alongside the existing interaction pointer.
Known Issues
- The Ashen Priest's Rituals are solo-only during early access.
- Some glove meshes still need manual finger alignment.
- The new Whirlwind visual effects are provisional.
- Graphics-driver crash reports remain under investigation.
- Act II remains in Early Access.
