Skugarth
- He strikes what he faces. Skugarth's two-axe chop now comes down in front of him, on you, and the blow lands the moment his axes hit the ground.
- Face to face. He circles round to come at you from the far side of the screen, so you see his face as the axes fall.
- A warrior's stance. His feet stay planted wide when he attacks, and he stalks the pit with a heavier stride.
- A new whirlwind. His spin now sounds like two great axes tearing the air.
- His armour no longer stretches apart at the top of his leap.
- Stone walkways now lead away from the side gates of his pit.
Character creator
- Skin tone works. Pick from ten tones, with a warm or cool tint and a weathering slider.
- Body shape for women. Shoulders, chest, waist, hips, arms and legs, muscle and fat, plus Lean, Athletic and Heavy builds.
- Face shape for women. Nose, jaw, chin, cheekbones, cheeks, mouth, lips and neck.
Graphics
- The game now renders at your monitor's full resolution even when Windows display scaling is on, so 4K and 1440p screens are sharp.
- You can turn the settings down again. The left arrow in Settings now steps backwards. Before, both arrows went forwards, so graphics quality could not be lowered from Epic without the hardware test putting it straight back. Difficulty and resolution step both ways too.
- Fixed some trees, rocks and a club that could show a plain placeholder material.
Known Issues
- Men's body and face shape sliders are not in yet.
- Women heroes have no hair styles yet; more styles for everyone are coming.
- Skugarth has no sitting animation yet; he stands on his throne while his garrison fights.
